Since October 2024, we’ve enrolled 5 immigrants ranging from 25 to 60 years old, with another 7 on the waitlist for our second cohort.
100% of students have opened a brokerage or a high-yield savings account by the time they finish the course. In addition, students are learning to budget their fixed and variable expenses, plan for retirement, and build their credit in the U.S.

Meet our founder, Larissa Gomes
Larissa Gomes is a Certified Financial Education Instructor and the founder of Out of the Mattress. Previously, she worked at Bloomberg on the Terminal software used by finance pros worldwide, and at WGSN, a global consumer trend forecaster.
